Today is rare to find someone who’s career and experience has such a great variety of projects as Diego Varas has. This flexibility allows him to be an actor, host, producer, songwriter, singer, and writer in both English and Spanish markets.

Born in Chile, Diego Varas arrived to the US at the tender age of 9. After living in Miami for a bit he moved to Los Angeles where he started his career doing voiceovers for TV shows and movies. Not too much time passed and Varas was already appearing in commercials, music videos, and even modeling for different designing companies such as Jon Valdi and Ralph Lauren.

At 17, he was given his first chance to be in front of the camera and success quickly followed, as the list of shows he hosted in both English and Spanish grew immensely. Entertainment shows like America Now, Studio 2, Voices, VIP Tv and Buena Onda (Telemundo), are just a few shows where his creativity stood out not only hosting but also writing and producing.

This gave him the opportunity to interview many celebreties in the english market such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, David Beckam and Kobe Bryant as well as latin celebreties like Paulina Rubio, Juanes, Alejandra Guzmán, La Ley and Maná, just to name a few. His creativity in interviews was also a key component in the hilarious sports show Sportes which Varas created and produced.

Among his most succesful shows are “Buscando Amor: Desafío” (Blind Date) “Across the Hall” and the internationally acclaimed “The Rub” (Sony), a candid talk show about love, sex, and relationships with a funny twist about the battle of the sexes.

Diego’s most recent work includes “Alternativa”, “Piedra, Papel y Tijera”, “World Championship Gaming Series” and “Update”(Directv), where he was also part of the creative force writing and producing.

Besides focusing on his production company “Juanderland” where along with a talented group he developes tv shows and movies, today Varas is also promoting the new album with his spanish pop rock group 19 Norte. Tiltled “Dolce de Leche,” this debut album is currently available on iTunes and Amazon and contains songs all sang, written and produced by Varas.

Hoy en día es raro encontrar a alguien que tenga una trayectoria y una experiencia con tanta variedad de proyectos como lo hace Diego Varas. Esta flexibilidad le permite ser actor, animador, productor, canta-autor, escritor y maestro de ceremonias en ambos mercados; ingles y español.

Nacido en Santiago, Chile, Diego Varas llegó a Los Estados Unidos a la temprana edad de 9 años. Después de vivir en Miami brevemente, se mudó a Los Ángeles donde empezó su carrera haciendo doblajes para películas. No pasó mucho tiempo para que Varas empezara a aparecer en comerciales, videos musicales y hasta modelando para diferentes líneas de ropa que incluyen Ralph Lauren y John Valdí.

A los 17 años, se le dio la oportunidad de ponerse frente de la cámara como animador y el éxito no se dejó esperar ya que la lista de programas que protagonizó como animador tanto en inglés como en español se amplió a programas de entretenimiento como America Now, Studio 2, Voices, VIP TV y Buena Onda de Telemundo, en donde sobresalió su creatividad no solo animando, sino produciendo y escribiendo para este show musical en donde además tuvo el privilegio de entrevistar a muchas celebridades del mercado anglo incluyendo a Arnold Schwarzenegger y Kobe Bryant así como a celebridades latinas como Paulina Rubio, Juanes, Alejandra Guzmán, La Ley y Maná, por mencionar algunos. Su creatividad en las entrevistas tampoco se dejó esperar en el divertidísimo show deportivo Sportes donde Varas es su creador y productor.

Entre sus shows más exitosos destacan “Buscando Amor: Desafío” “Across the Hall” y el internacionalmente elogiado “The Rub” (Sony), un candido talk show en inglés acerca del amor y las relaciones, con un simpático twist acerca de la batalla de los sexos

Lo mas reciente de Diego incluye los shows “Alternativa”, “Piedra, Papel y Tijera”, el mundial de video juegos “World Cha mpionship Gaming Series” y “Update” de Directv donde tambien formo parte de la fuerza creativa escribiendo y produciendo.

Ademas de estar enfocado en su producatora “Juanderland” donde junto a un gran y talentoso elenco desarrollan shows de television y peliculas, hoy Varas tambien se encuentra promocionando su nuevo album con su grupo rock pop 19 Norte. Titulado Dolce de Leche, este album debut ya salio a la venta en Itunes y Amazon y contiene un repertorio de canciones las cuales son todas cantadas, escritas y producidas por Varas.
